Friend is thinking about getting a 86 miltiary blazer, with the 6.2. it has about 38,000 miles. what are the common problemareas on these engines? im a basement dweller in the Ford IDIs so i know my way around a little on these.
also, did the blazers come in the 1/2 ton variety or were they the heavier 3/4 ton? i dont know much about the military stuff. he onyl plans to use it for a DD (about 10 miles round trip), to haul his band equipment to practice and for a light bush toy.
asking price is $4200 and i think its a little high...what ya say? i know more is needed but average askin price...i said $2500-3000 if its top notch.
