6.9 oil capacity and truck seats.

Just a couple quick questions, guys.

What is the oil change capacity of the 6.9 with new filter?

Also, I want to reupholster the front seats on my 1987 Truck. I see LMC has the new upholstery for seats up to 1986 and from 1992 up. Would anyone know if the 1986 seats are the same as the 1987, and if not any source for the reupholstery kits for the 1987 captains seats?

With the FL-784 filter, capacity is 10 quarts. 11 with an FL-1995 filter. I have a good untorn front seat that needs a good cleaning, but otherwise is in good shape if anybody wants it.

What year is the seat out of?

It's an 85. Bench seat with split folding backs out of an extended cab. Cloth material. Looks like a good carpet shampoo would fix them up. No tears and the underside looks real good.

Would that bolt into a 94?

The newer seats (90's) are a LOT better than the 1981 seats. Find a cloth seat out of an F150, you will be in heaven. They are fairly easy to find in near perfect condition. I picked up one with a repaired tear for $40.

Seat will directly bolt in from up to 96 F150 or 97 F250 and heavier.
