There is a tech article. You solve the interference problem by adding a diode so it doesn’t back feed to the cold Advance. I separated my high idle off to just a switch on its own but left the cold Advance on the temp switch. When I cold start I flip the gp and high idle switches on. If it’s not cold I leave them off to start.
