thats funny he just pulled the engine last week but i remember seeing that listing months ago when i was looking around. from what i hear they are good engines but like mentioned hard to get parts for anymore. they were not powerhouses in the day but have the same potential to be turned up as a DT360 or 5.9.

Our L-8000 had the 7.8. I can't tell ya if parts are easy to get for it or not because in the 10years it served us as a haul truck the engine never broke down on us once. I would flog that truck pretty ******* a daily basis too. Like was said above they are a little under powered but they are tough as nails.
