I removed the heads on the non turbo military "rebuilt" engine I installed after 500 miles in my M998 due to bubbles of oil appearing at the seam between the head and the block below the glow plugs and injectors. The manuals I have are for the 6.2l engine. does anyone have the latest torque values for the heads, intake mainfold, exhaust manifolds and valve cover gaskets handy?
Thanks,
Nick

when it gets to the final 90deg, I always put a paint marker mark on each headbolt head so that you can see it was turned 90deg. It is pretty easy to miss one with that many bolts.

i do same thing, but take it to the next step. i have many different colors, put a little mark on each bolt after torquing it for each pass. that way in the end i should see 3 colors on each bolt knowing i got every one.
