We have done a bunch of those conversions.
Pick ups , 1 tons never in a jeep.
Just about everyone 20 plus mpg.
We run a 4b in our race truck, it's an 86 ranger.
That runs all day at the dragstrip on 10 gallons of diesel.
Let me know if I can help.

I want a 6bt in my truck. Have you done one in a 88-98 GM sytle truck?

We haven't done a 6 but the mounts and trans adapter are the same.
I think we have a 6bt for sale.
The 4b's are nice, we build it to 300+Hp and 500 ft-lbs of tourque.
Very streetable, they weigh about the same as a big block chevy.
You should get over 20mpg.
