My friend has a 2004 F 250 6.0 ( turbo ) with poor interior heat. 200,000 miles on the engine. Up here we need good heat now that it is 30 below F. We looked at it today, engine warms up quickly, overflow bottle is filled within the lines. Entire center of the grill is covered up. We found that there is reasonable heat at anything above idle. At idle it blows cold, like the radiator is low but as you all know there is no old fashion rad cap to check that level. It appears that the fill cap on the overflow bottle is sealed as it hisses when you remove it. Is this a known problem ? THANKS for all your replys.
