Have looked at my back tag and on my door for the gearing to my new truck to no avail. I recently bought a 2000 Ford F-250 with 5.4L and 5spd. Reg Cab 2x4. Wondering if anybody could help me and/or steer me in teh right direction to find out what gears i have in it. Just wondering. I run 60 Miles per hour at 2000 RPMs, but would like to know for sure what gears i have.

if you call ford dealership with axle code from door sticker they can tell you.
also does it have a axle tag on the axle or is it missing?
you can also jack up rearend, then make a mark on the driveshaft at yoke, then make mark on tire between tire and ground, rotate the tire (1) complete turn while counting the turns on the driveshaft.
if its a reg axle you might have to hold one tire still to get a correct reading.
if its limited slip both tires will spin the same way.

It does have the tags. One says 5W30Synthetic Oil only and the one on the right looks has alot of numbers but nothing that says 3.73, 4.10, or 4.30:dunno

the one with the numbers in the lower left hand side should tell the gear ratio.
3 . 5 5 or 3 L 5 5
3 . 5 5 with be 3.55 and the 3 L 5 5 will be 3.55 limited slip.

Typically the 1st number will be covered by the head of the bolt. The tag without the synthetic gear oil writing

So look for L10(4:10) or L73(3:73) for limited slips or or just 10 or 73 for open rears
