I have an 00 f250 and it has a small oil leak at the back of the engine, im recovering from hernia surgery and havent had this truck long so i would like some ideas before i tear into it considering im still not 100%
Check the valley (or have someone else if you can't climb up there) and see if there's oil there. If so it is probably the turbo pedestal O-rings. It's very common on the 7.3L. Happened to me. If it's dry down there it could also be the rear main seal. Mine leaks a few drops. I just put a piece of cardboard on the garage floor and don't worry about it.
Also check ORB plugs in the high pressure oil rails. You can replace a couple of the o-rings on the HPOP, but there is one that is considered non-servicable. All of the above too.
