Ok, so here is my grand scheme. I recently bought a 97 F-Series Ford big monster 550 or 650 that has a stock Cummins 5.9 in it. I also have a 62 Ford F-100 that has a anemic 223 six cylinder eng that has to go away. I already have the ZF-5 transmission from a 92 Superduty as a donor. I know that I will need the expensive adaptor plate and the Cummins flywheel mated with the ford clutch set up. My F-100 is not 4wd so I need to source the correct parts to make it so. I want hubs that unlock so that I can retain some decent fuel economy. Also, what t-case works well with the ZF-5 so I can source that as well? Any useful input would be greatly appreciated. I want to source as much as I can before I start pulling engines and moving them around.
