Is that a question or a statement?

The 390 was one of the best engines Ford ever made.
But at 35 yrs. old, what's the history of that particular engine and tranny?

I got the truck last July and put 500 miles on it and then decided to go with a IDI. Does not smoke but the carb needs to be rebuilt and the trans shifts fine. All the accessories go with it.

390 is an awesome engine, pretty much the only gas burner i enjoy driving

Tech51, If I was local, I'd swing over and pick it up.... I've got a collection of fe parts, always needing more for various projects.
