12 valve + 8.0 v10 nv5600

im looking to do a 12 valve cummins swap into the truck in my sig, i found a 6 speed from a 2001 8.0L v-10 dodge. i believe a nv4500 from a cummins and a v-10 are the same tranny, my question is if the nv5600 is the same way, and if a nv4500 bellhousing to block adapter is the same as the nv5600, as the adapter would not be available from the v-10. thanks for any and all help.

i think the v10 and the 12valver use the same trans pre 96. the 96 v10 is computer controled trans. i am been thinking about this swap in my 96 in my sig. the v10 only gets 12 mpg on the highway.

the manual trannys wouldnt be computer controlled, would they? no matter what year.
