Well I got an oil repiort from Blackstone that about made me lose it. It showed 103ppm for lead, universal avg. is 9ppm. That was up from 6--m in Aug. and 11 in Oct. There is no difference in sound or oil pressure though. Other wear metals are OK, what gives? Thanks

Any big changes to your engine?

I say sample again then see what the results are, run the oil the same amount of time (miles) to try and repeat the test as closely as you can. Might be just a fluke...

Retest, sounds like a bad sample to me.

Yeah I'm hoping its just a bad sample. I just don't want to cause it to spin a bearing or toss a rod leaving the block unsalvageable. Nope, no big changes, and its making about the same amount of noise as always. I am using LESS oil than before so whatever I put in is staying in longer.
