6.9 won't start
update I knew it was a bad idea but I was running out of ideas. I next disconnected the fuel line before the fuel pump, put a piece of hose on it which I know to be good, then tried starting it again. With either, I could get it to hit but not start. 6.9 won't start
I traded it for a 1988 F-250 4X4. The truck came out factory with a 7.3 but it had problems so they put a 6.9 diesel in it. They were in the process of installing a new front timing seal in it when the guys dad had a heart attack so that is how I traded for it. It needs the timing cover seal...- Okumaguru

Well crap!!!!
Home pressing The equipment is the problem. It is out there for sale but is extremely expensive. It is intended to be marketed to larger markets which makes it to pricey for individuals. I have been kind of browsing for a way to "rig" my own but it hasn't "came to me" yet. Tim- Okumaguru

Well crap!!!!
It's a little "out of the box" but I was trying to look into,,,acorns, pine cones and needles, etc. I think there might be things you could go out and "harvest" and not actually have to plant or anything else. It's just a thought I've had. Tim- Okumaguru

fuel consumption I didn't really notice a change in fuel consumption but quite a bit more power. The biggest change I noticed in fuel consumption was the difference between running 50 mph as compared to 60 mph. It seemed to drop up to 8 mpg with the speed change. smokin I have to agree with some and disagree with others. I am a little over 16 and it give me a major "woody" to see and smell diesel smoke. The first thing I did when I got my diesel Rabbit going was grind the piece off of the fuel screw and turn it up just a little so people could tell it...- Okumaguru

turbo question (dumb question probably)

oil thoughts Has anyone thought about "pressing" their own oil. I started gathering information and then noticed the oil getting harder to get.
