I have 1985 6.9 IDI F250
I want to replace the injectors and I want to put a good injector in it. I've heard you can get a marine injector? And it adds hp? These are just a few questions I have . If anyone takes the time I have a lot.
Yes typo sorry ip lines . I removed the plate again to see if it was drawing fuel. When I removed it feel came out just as it did before. Does that mean it's drawing fuel? And it just hasn't reached the lines yet?
is there anything electrical that may need attention. I've narrowed it down to either something electrical for the injection pump itself. I've turned the Allen screw back to as close to the begenning position as I can. I have fuel to the filter . And when I loosen the plate covering the Allen...
Ok well I've tried all the suggestions but I'm still not getting any fuel I ge a little air but no fuel it shouldn't take this long to prime I would think . The only thing I can think of is the pump
I've tried cracking the injectors I get little bubbles but not much fule. I get it out of th shader valve though. I'm scratching my head new to the idi game.
Fuel spits out of the filter valve so I'm assuming the pump itself is good. I've turned it over four times or so in 10 second intervals. I see bubbles but no fuel.
Any way to contact anyone if not possible I completely understand
Well to tell you the whole story I was told the wrong information I'm assuming and I turned the Allen twords the radiator the first time . After all that hassle and a fail attempt I turned to back the way I found it.
I turned up the fuel pump like everyone eventually dose and now it won't start . I have fuel to the bleed valve of the filter housing. But no fuel to the lines . What do I do.
