    Been a while since my last post, just did a service on my 94 F350 7.3 IDITurbo and found tiny bit of play on turbo shaft. I'm wondering if it's worth replacing the bearings now or wait till it needs replacement and just install a rebuilt? I have large tool selection and access to specialty tools...

    is 11 mpg decent towing trailer

    I just bought a new 5th wheel and made a trip got 11mpg, 1994 sc drw 7.3iditurbo e4od 4.10s pump turned up wastegate adjusted 4in straitpipe still have factory dp. 5th wheel is 34ft the setup weighs just shy of 18500lbs. I am pretty happy with the numbers since my old 460 dually got 11mpg...

    6.2 to 6.5 any visible differences

    I may go look at a 96 diesel dually only thing is ad says mech ip, being the way I am I suspect it may be a 6.2 with the turbo from the original engine put on. Is there a quick way to determine which it is? other than that seems like a reasonable deal that I would like to capitalize on...

    twin turbo?

    I'm normaly over on the ford IDI forum but have a good buy available on a 6.5td . I wss plnning a twin turbo setup for another 7.3 but this chev deal came up so I'm just wondering if twins on a 6.5 is doable or a really bad idea. Thanks in advance. John
