What makes these engines so gutless?

My 7.3 was fast with or without a trailer :dunno No turbo, completely stock... Even with 10,000 lbs behind it it wasn't bad, if your point of reference is a Duramax then yeah it's a dog but compared to anything of that era they're pretty decent really. No one says that 5.9's were under powered...

    4500 rpms in your IDI???

That'll set a permanent overspeed fault and possibly warranty cancellation on at least one major brand, most won't turn over 2200 rpm or so now...

    Electrical Cleaner?

CRC works fine, no aerosol spray really does much though if you're actually having issues. These can be helpful http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0062Y599K?keywords=electrical%20terminal%20cleaner&qid=1450154685&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

Oil Cooler Reseal. Oil change Coolant flush

Yup, what he says. Plus if I remember correctly the ends don't just push right back on easily... I wouldn't want to try and shove it together in the engine bay.

    Finding more gears

IDI's came in medium duty Internationals with manual transmissions for a number of years. We have one in our service truck. As someone else said just find one of those and pull what you need. Single range transmissions like the 6+ aren't any fun to shift when they get worn out but that may just...

New rear tires for open diff 2wd F250 ?

I was going to say Cooper AT3 but not sure if those are available in Europe as they are a US company... If you actually want to get around in the woods with 2wd tire chains are the way to go.

    Rear axle seals and bearings

Bearings are likely okay but... Wheel/axle seal leaks can be caused by worn bearings. You can pull the axle shafts and measure end play with a dial indicator to see if this is what is going on. Since you have to take it apart anyway I would just change the bearings and be done with it. If you...

    Peak final charge antifreeze

ELC doesn't cause leaks, that's a myth. The sca additive for green coats the cooling passages of the engine to prevent cavitation, this also happens to help stop leaks from starting. If it leaks after switching it's because your truck is 25 years old and needs the o-rings or gaskets replaced anyway.

    Group 31 batteries in 80-86?

That's not true... Battery cables should be crimped, especially if they are routed in any way that there is weight or pull against that terminal.
