IP Spring
Anyone have a picture showing the spring on the IP? I replaced my IP and I was not paying attention to where it was connected. Thanks. Mike- mikedean

DTC P2285 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low
Yep, probably the worst spot possible. Removing the heat shield from the bottom is the way to go. I didn't disconnect the front drive shaft but that would have made it a little easier. I removed the FICM, air cleaner and expansion tank to get to the pigtail.- mikedean

DTC P2285 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low
Yep. Took a little longer than I expected but I replaced it last night. Pigtail had oil in it and sensor was leaking. Voltage is a little higher now pre start so I think that is why it was throwing the code.- mikedean

DTC P2285 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low
I am getting the DTC P2285 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low, on start up sometimes with a surging idle. I have to restart and seems to run fine after that. If I let the engine sit overnight, same thing. I have not checked the obvious yet, like oil level etc. Any ideas on what check...- mikedean

Injector lines
Yeah I think length will have a minimal effect on timing. The I.D. of the tube may be more of an effect, along with the pop off pressure of the injector it runs to. I took a ride around to a few hydraulic shops and none of them had a nut that would fit the OEM tube I have. I was going to patch...- mikedean

Injector lines
I was thinking that it does not matter but I am not an experienced mechanic. I have 1/4" ss tubing but I do not have the ability to flare the ends.- mikedean

Do the injector lines have to all be the same length? I need to repair or replace one that was cross threaded and the nut split.- mikedean

measuring hpop psi output at allen plug on top of case
you need the base package and the enhanced Ford package. that will give access to just about every parameter the ECU measures. total price is around $400. I wish I would have went that way. I bought a drewtech mongoose and it doesn't measure everything and their software is terrible. $650 but I...- mikedean
