In need of zf5 shifter
Hey I’m looking for a zf5 shifter I have the pedestal the shifter sits in but I’m missing the gasket the little 4 bolt retaining plate and the stub shaft the stick bolts to. If anyone has one in Oregon that would be cool but I’d pay shipping if not thank you- Timber-Reaper

What is this on my precups?
I was thinking about getting the comp 910-16 springs I haven't decide yet tho. Will that change your opinion about not wire wheeling it??- Timber-Reaper

What is this on my precups?
I got arp head studs and CDD think head gaskets and I see this white stuff all over the head when I get it off. Can anyone inform me what it is?? I'm thinking heat?? Some how? It had much more but it's flaked off some.- Timber-Reaper

Odometer question
I agree I never met the yahoo but sounds pretty ignorant. I don't know if he ran it out of oil and got water in the intake or what. Maybe he over reved it with no oil it's a mistory for me as well but I'm glad it's mine now ha ha he was making us look bad driving our trucks undeserving- Timber-Reaper

I've also painted the needles but not the color in the tack I used an orange made by folk art it looked good but it was a few shades darker than factory. Nobody ever noticed or called me out but I knew and that alone drove me a little crazy lol I also had all leds in the cluster so it really...- Timber-Reaper

So I've done this once and my truck didn't have a tach factory but it had all the wires and it didn't work I has to wire the back I'll send a pic- Timber-Reaper

I will say I used the original heads because they looked brand new. I was disappointed about the block because it still had the hash marks from the hone- Timber-Reaper

I did I got it from a lady in her 60s ot was her husband that bought it new in 86 he died in 96 from cancer he got from his place of implyement and when that happened it never drove again till she sold it to her caretakers boyfriend and he had it for a year and never paid so I repoed it and paid...- Timber-Reaper

Odometer question
The clutch pedal rubber has minimal wear. The bed has some scratches but no dents really. The paint is kinda faded but body looks good. I just thought if it rolled over the odometer alignment would be off Slightly but I just can't imagine having that low of mileage. The seat has a cover that is...- Timber-Reaper

OK thank you. I kept going back and forth on whether it was good or not. I needed some reassurance. I have another 6.9 here out of an 83 I'm gonna use the crank and rods out of but the original pistons and rings out of the block we are talking about I guess I should probably get new bearings is...- Timber-Reaper
