I have had my PDR HX40 for about 4 years. With the mods in my signature I have crazy high egt's. And on the dyno I can smack down a blistering 394 hp with a pegged egt gauge. Towing is difficult, I have to barely touch the fuel pedal or my egt's will be throught the roof.
I am by no means an additive expert, but if I had that much 2 stroke oil kickin around with no real use for, I sure would be adding it to my 04.5 and my 98 12v without hesitation. From all I have read, it does not hurt anything.
I have a juice with attitude with the hot program. My truck right now is a guttless wonder that will only hit about 15psi of boost. The 0243 code is a Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A malfunction. Now I think I have most of my problem solved............. This wastegate solenoid must be...
I have no idea what happened to my original transmission that was taken out on August 25th. All I know is that the dealership ordered a replacement the following Monday. And yes I was making payments........ Cost me around a $1000 bucks a month sitting there between Insurance and Payments.
Another update. The transmission has been done and was shipped out of Warren Michigan on Oct 27th 2006. As far as I know it has not hit Red Deer and then it has to be shipped to Dawson Creek. So I figure by next Friday I should have my truck back. Be around 11 weeks in total.
Nope, the 96 - 98 manual transmission trucks had the 215 pumps. That is the one you want. There is a 913 pump as well that you could look for if you get a 94 - 98 12v. I don't think it would be cost effective to get the 89 - 93 style.
9 weeks tommorow. I did call DC 1-800 line and got nowhere. Just a shouldn't be much longer. Also said no to a g-56 swap. I am getting a little irritated now. They told me I was on their highest priority list! Coded VOR. Vehicle Off Road. I get the next available transmission. :rolleyes...
23 mpg! Wow. I have never ever got over 18 mpg empty with my 98 12v. That was even when I bought it new before any modifications. Some people have all the luck.
Yes I do live in the Fort St John area...... My truck is @ the Dealership in Dawson. As for coming unglued, I am driving my 98 12v so my ******* are not all bunched up just yet!
It will be 5 weeks tommorow and I talked with the dealership again yesterday and there is still no hope in hell of getting a rebuilt nv5600 anytime soon. I think it is a plot and they are waiting for me to say screw it and trade it in on a new one. GAH!
