REAR END HELP PLEASE!!!
thanks crwyler i found a new rear end on cl and i am going to finish putting it in today. i went ahead bought it for 200 bucks with springs and over load springs. i dont know if i am going to fix the bad one or not. i think the howsing is bent, the spring block is about 3/4 inch off center to...- smokey93

thanks for the info. but the pinion nut was very tight' had to go to harbor freight to get a socket set. the nut was 1/78, then i had to get my wife to stand on a long cheeter bar beside the truck. the cheeter bar went to the ground," she is a full figured woman" if you know what i am saying...- smokey93

REAR END HELP PLEASE!!!
HELP!! i have a 98 ram2500 4x4 with a nv4500 trans,and a Dana 80 rear diff .i changed my leaking pinion seal 2 weeks ago i have did this on trucks before. i always mark pinion stud and nut,count the threads and return to where they were before. now i have a drive shaft yoke that is wobbling...- smokey93

ODD TIRE SIZES ON 4 WD??
I JUST BOUGHT A 98 D2500 4 WD WITH CUMMINS AND 5 SPEED TRANS. IT HAS 2 DIFFERENT SIZE TIRES FROM FRONT TO BACK. I THINK IT WILL PROBLY DAMAGE THE TRANSFER CASE IF I USE 4 WD. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I AM RITE??? TIRES ARE ABOUT 1 INCH DIFFERENCE IN SIZE. TRANKS JIM!!cookoo- smokey93

98 d2500 4 wd 5 speed
NO; it don't sound like fart i am very familiar with , "my farts". but it sounds exactly like a spark plug wire off and arcking. it makes this sound for a few seconds ,stops for a while then starts back. but it has no rhythm to it totally erratic and does it driving or stopped. i have wiggled...- smokey93

98 d2500 4 wd 5 speed cummins spark plug arcking ??? just bought a 98 d 2500 4 wd 5 speed truck has 94k miles, factory new 5 speed with new clutch was just replaced. is in extra good shape and runs perfect. however does have a few issues, fuel sender will need repair, no problem thanks to info...- smokey93

93-02 WHEEL CONVERSION
I HAVE A 93 D 250 WITH 8 LUG WHEELS, I HVE A SET OF 2002 17" 8 LUG WHEELS AND TIRES ,THAT I WOULD LIKE TO PUT ON TRUCK. THE WHEELS RUB ON FRONT. SO I KNOW I WILL NEED SPACERS ON THE FRONT. BUT I CANT FIND WHEEL STUDS LONG ENOUGH. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INFO. AS WHAT I CAN DO. THANKS...- smokey93
