    i just replaced the lift pump now its leaking at the back of the motor. where from now??? if any one knows where please tell me and how to fix it!!!!!:yell::backoff:backoff:backoff

    well the fuel pump is done and didnt need to bend a great snapon wrench, have a son with small hands!!! comes in every time!! but still acts like its running out of fuel?? so now what??

    i think so there was some grime in the bottem i tried toget , the spring in the fpr was broke i fixed that by adding a 3/16 shim

    i cleaned the fpr , turbo looks fine little dirty,the oil i will change in the morning ,it has 287000 miles, i pluged the code reader in , and nothing!!

    im kind of thinking its the fuel pressure reg? the raw fuel is comming in the cab,before ypu smelled it while driving

    ok i changed the fuel -lift pump, replced the old hoses, and the same problem!! it acts like its running out of fuel at high rpms, then runs bad goes from 2800 rpm to 1000 rpm fast, still smells like raw fuel,then it stays there till i stop and just sit and idle for a few then i can go again ...

    ok im back , now i need any tips on changing the fuel pump on a 97 psd fed admin. its a turbo. any special tools needed or what? what should i look for? :dunno

    i hear you, , the tag is good , i have a wabo card ,cert. welder, so im ok there but the tag is great!! i use the wheel straps with the flatbed, but spoons on the other truks.

    you can make them yourself i did!!it was easy,**** why buy things if you can do it yourself!! i fabed my own reciver hitches with c chanel and all thread!! as well as a motor cycle carrier for the wheel lift!! its easy, a welder, torch,hammer,steel and beer you can do anything!!
