I found this thread tonight so I am not fully in the loop but Oil pressure is at its lowest point @ idle, if the light is on above idle and not @ idle it could be a bad sensor. or there is something else entirely wrong that the dealer can't or won't find to fix this.
the Kore kit lifts the rear about an inch and that with between 2.5"-3" on the front, the truck will have a slight downward stance in the front. I am looking to get the Kore Chase system for mine.
the one labeled pyro#2 that is hooked with the nut and bolt is for a second pyro probe and need to be hooked as they are if they are not hooked to a probe. as to the rest I can't help.
Do you know that the 6.0 has been in service for several years @ 250 hp in other applications and was relatively problem free. It was FORD that screwed with it and caused all the problems because the had to keep up with the jones's(dodge, chevy) in the HP wars.
And BTW they are doing the same...
check the brake switch 1st. then try unplugging the brake controller if you have one. Mine would just arbitrarily come on by themselves with no one in/around the truck, and I disconnected the brake controller and no more uncommanded lights.
The 6.2 SHOULD be identical to the S/B Chevy in regards to the the bellhousing and motor mounts. The pilot bearing shoulde be the same also. But the motor is physically taller and wider and possibly longer also so it might be difficultto get it to fit. why not juststick a gasser in there?
I have a millenium edition Durango SLT+ w/ a 4.7L. It is 4wd with 31/10.5R15's, I know it gets around 12 mpg. in town. I get better mileage with my truck so I don't know what kind of mileage it gets on the interstate.
on a stock truck you will lose some power. they don't need any more than 4" until 500 hp. my '03 ETH/DEE dynoed @ 250 with a 5" exhaust and Drop in air filter. It should have been closer to 270.
the 6 spd also has a bigger diameter clutch (13") but the clutch is weaker @ high HP but aftermarket is better for the 6'er. trackbar on the 4wds is junk.
