Tach sensor and Oil Burners comes through again!
My F250 transmission has been acting up a bit. Sometime hard upshifts. Always hunting for gears at part throttle between 25mph up to 50mph. The tach has never worked correctly since I have owned the truck. It just has been worse recently. I do a search and find the transmission gets a signal...- noddaz

That sinking brake pedal.
Ok, nothing to report yet. Installed the booster and pumped the brakes with the truck off to test the pedal. And blew out the right rear brake line. Fabbed up a line, installed it and called it a night because of rain. Came back next night, bled the brakes. And I was testing the pedal...- noddaz

I have done the search. I have read "At wits end" http://www.oilburners.net/threads/brake-problem-at-witts-end.78362/#post-927148 and I have the same sort of problem. The truck ruined the right rear drum. Bought shoes, bought wheel cylinders (bleeders stuck, cheap enough, just replace) bought...- noddaz

What is this and why is it leaking?
Nope, not a regular part. Ford dealer should be able to order it for you. I wouldn't expect them to stock it.- noddaz

Heater core ... How is it secured in the box?
1991 F250. Heater core is leaking, bought a crappy AZ heater core to replace it with. Found the heater box had nothing to hold the heater core in place in the box. What should be in there? The only thing holding the core in place now is the heater hoses...- noddaz

1991 7.3 A/C clutch replacement woodruff key?
I will try that next time.. Thanks. Meanwhile I bought keyway stock from a hardware store to make a keyway. Just had to take a piece that was 1" long and cut it to length with a Dremal cut off wheel. Then while re-assembling the ac clutch I found the keyway. It was all smashed up and shoved...- noddaz

Biggest question. Is there a woodruff key on the compressor shaft of a 1991 F250 Diesel? I have the v-belt pulley type compressor. Bought the clutch from AZ, rented removal tool from AZ (wrong diameter tool..) And then the clutch hub wriggled free without a puller. I noticed the keyway slot...- noddaz
