    6.5 1500 4x4 fuel mileage

What kind of fuel mileage does a regular cab 6.5 auto 4x4 get? Found one that might be cheap at a farm auction supposedly had a dead fuel pump.

Stock Alternator not sufficiant for my ride do I need a high output?

Yep get a DC Power high output alt. 6.0's have way too small of an alternator.

    Loss of Torque???

Hpop is probably toast, early build hpop's were a bad design and have a finite lifetime.

    Loss of Torque???

I don't like the idea of a 6.0 with a tuner unless you have head studs.

    Loss of Torque???

Vgt turbo doesnt use vacuum for control. Pcm pwm solenoid controls oil pressure to change turbo. 6.0 totally different than a 7.3

    Loss of Torque???

Cat or muffler plugged up possibly. 03 doesn't use the EBP sensor anymore. one of the original reflashes took care of that.

Just bought y first 6.0 loved my 7.3

6.7's are the first to be detuned a bunch, they are 300hp (chassis cab or narrow frame) vs. 400hp for wide frame (pickup box trucks). IIRC some of the 6.4 trucks were like 25 or 50 detuned.

Just bought y first 6.0 loved my 7.3

None of the factory reflashes affected power level. A recall on an 04 was probably for elimination of using ebp, those early ones now use an inferred exhaust pressure reading. They also had a customer satisfaction thing for us to test drive, verify no driveability issues and reflash to the...

Just bought y first 6.0 loved my 7.3

Ya we can't turn power levels up or down with factory scan tools, the only thing we can do is update to newer factory software. Chase
