My clutch was slipping and I got my tax refund so I stopped by a couple of parts stores on the way to work.They did not carry the conversion clutch I wanted to install.I went online and found the setup I wanted.I used their application guide...
No the fork was not replaced.I was argueing with a coworker about a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.He crawled under my truck and said yes there is.It's a small allen screw.That's this weekends project.
I leave in second gear.When I release the clutch the noise starts but does go away as I increase in speed.I don't hear it third or up.If the trans is full with four qts.,how do I put in a fifth?
I called the shop and used a generic dextron.What do you suggest?
WTH is rollover noise? I've heard it talked about before but I don't get.

I had a converision clutch installed in my 1993 f350 7.3 idi and the shop said they changed the fluid at the same time.It now sounds like the trans wants to come out and sit next to me.Hard to hear the radio.

Also the trans has become very noisy.The shop changed the fluid while they where there.

I just spent 15 days trying to remove the torx bolt from the idler.I ended up removing the radiator.I tried a 3/8 impact to remove the bolt.It just rattled.I put a 1/2 impact and stripped the bolt.I removed a part of the pulley by using a 3in cutoff wheel.I tried vise grips with a cheater.nope.I...
