Owners of ATS prove to be low life Rats

No one has posted the response from ATS yet? This letter, according to ATS, was a letter drafted by their attorney, sent to Clint, who subsequently rejected it. The private e-mail was then hacked out of his e-mail server and put up on the internet. If this is true, several laws were broken in...

    Looking for filter ideas..

This might help with both your questions: http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/memberstuff/al/PPF_2008-02-25.pdf On top of page 4 is a partial extract of an Excel file I have that compares 55 fuel filters for thread size, nominal rating, size, and whether or not it has a water separator...

    Filter cross reference

My bet is that you won't find a replacement for the Amsoil EaPB100 bypass filter. They have some special thread that only Amsoil makes. You could have someone machine a new threaded insert, but that cost would outweigh any savings of another filter. Big topic over at BITOG forums on this...

    Waste oil problems

There's plenty of 2-10 micron (nominal) fuel filters out there, see page 4 of this paper: http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/memberstuff/al/PPF_2008-02-25.pdf If anyone wants the full Excel file with all the filters listed, PM me your e-mail address; the one in the paper above only has...

hose conversion for those running bio...

To install my pre-pump filter, I used about 6 feet of SAE-J30R9 fuel injection hose from Auto Zone at about $4 per foot. It's the only fuel line I'll use from now on - I'll never use the SAE-J30R7 stuff.

Bypass Filter systems. What do you got.

There's a bunch for the 6.0. Oilguard, Amsoil, FS-2000 (or FS-2500) probably others that I can't recall right now. I've got an Amsoil BMK-11 mount that's been on two previous vehicles and will now go on my '06 PSD. I have the Oilguard oil filter and oil filler caps with fittings that will...

    Heavy Haul

That's not recent is it? 'Cause the Blue Marlin just got done (Jan. 10 +/-) taking 50K tons of SBX floating radar to Hawaii. Took about a month to get there, about that to get back to the East Coast. Al

    B & W hitch rails

Yep, that's what I can't get over. They hold the whole hitch on with two 2" x 1/4" angle iron. I've got the *.pdf instruction file if anyone wants a copy. $5 worth of metal, the rest must be for the lawyers. Al

    Bought a car Hauler

I think I saw a pic of that trailer in M.M Smith's book on designing and building trailers as an example of what NOT to make or buy. No suspension *usually* = very low life to the frame due to stress concentrations. The tongue to frame connection consists of 3 butt welds, a weak design. It...

    Heavy Haul

Just telling you what our tranportation guy told me. He goes with the loads from Portland, OR all the way to the destination. They spend one night on the road between Valdez and the endpoint, so he has plenty of time to talk to the transport drivers and supervisors. BTW, you're paying for...

    Heavy Haul

They're computer controlled. We (or I should say, our trucking company) uses the same technology to transport our large oversize and overweight (sorry can't tell you) items from the Port of Valdez 350 miles north to Central Alaska, even in winter. They use a semitruck and trailer with a 120...
