I like it, it took probably 12 to 14 solid hours of work. Maybe more but that was dismantling both trucks and putting one transmission in. If we had a gopher and all the right tools, second time around it could be around 8 hours I bet- 93fordturbo

With the help of another member on oil burners, I got the swap done. Now I just have to get the front axle swapped in. I gotta say we fought the turbos and the pedal assembly the most. I'm not sure if they were different generation Banks turbos or just the fact that one was for an auto and one...- 93fordturbo

Hoping to have next week off. Having second thoughts on the swap. I feel like I'm capable I can do it, but I have my doubts. Are there any special tools I will need? I'm hoping to get labor day week off, meaning I should have ample time to do swap I hope. I'm swapping to 4x4 because I only need one ccdrw. One is enough to maintain. I'd rather put all my marbles in one. I'll do the 4x4 swap over the body swap because I have everything right there and a perfect reference right beside it. I'm still not going to drive it much in the winter...- 93fordturbo

Ok, yeah I was wondering if it was my phone or something that I couldn't see the photos. What should I start with first diesel crawler? I think I can figure out pulling and replacing and matching holes and drilling I just need a starting point- 93fordturbo

Overheating
Ok, any tips for doing head gaskets? I did some for the first time a few years ago and it was a total bear. I damn near would take it to my local shop if I had to do it again. I'm sure it would be $1500 for that though- 93fordturbo
