Well as some of you guys who know me (and showed up to help..THANKS BTW!!!) know that I have been in the process of moving to Ft. Wayne,IN. Well this past weekend we made the main move. all of our stuff showed up no to worse for wear yesterday and we are starting to unpack and get settled.

So what took about 10 people 3 1/2 hours to load will take us a few days to unpack. i got a 28' pup trailer sitting in my driveway and everything shifted back about 2ft. nothing has been damaged so far. One of the straps i put across the trailer to help support everything managed to slice a box clean in half. luckily the box was only 1/2 full and was below the cut...

I am beat...its pretty sad when you come back to work for a bit of a break!!!

I got a fresh order of firewall brackets ready to go and am taking orders again.

Hopefully I will be able to develop some new items once I'm fully settled and get the rest of my tools out here.

Well this is good news.. No travel mechanical issues. No lost or damaged house stuff.. Just one box cut in half.... I say its a win win deal. So what do you think caused the load to shift back 2 ft... Usually a load shifts forwards due to brakeing... Glad you guys are safe...

A little trailer like that will bounce like crazy on those roads. THe expansion joints will throw you all over teh place. Running joke with the truck drivers around there is that the roads will leave you with teeth marks in the steering wheel and a dent in the cab over the seat. If that's all tha damage you got in the move, you got off easy.
I used to run through there fairly regularly in a big truck and I cant count the number of broken springs Ive racked up on those roads.
