I just got off the phone with ATS to order more drain grommets and they are no longer supporting the IDI systems.
I went off on the guy and apparently the ******* bean counters dont think it is worth it to tool up for these parts. Some small company in UTAH they got the rubber parts from went under and they "dont feel the need to spend money to support the idi systems"

So I am taking my last grommet to a place I know of that does rubber parts to see if these can be done.
Wish me luck or throw out some ideas, I have several people that need grommets.

He said they just did inventory and there are no more parts in stock to sell.

I told him this was going up on the forums and he seemed ok with that.

A good reason not to ever put anything with ATS written on it on ANY vehicle. If you want to keep it a long time they'll decide its time for you to buy something newer and spend more money with them...

Surely there's somebody that can make some, or even some other application that has a part that will be a substitute.

good thing with ATS is less of their stuff is "proprietary" like Banks stuff is.
try rebuilding a Banks turbo and needing a cold side impeller.

Thank you for that...I'm sure the day will come when I'll need rubber parts for my ATS system; here's to hoping that your guys will be able to do it!

Just wondering, did ATS discontinue the Aurora kit and aren't making anything for IDI's anymore?

They've been on the fritz for some time, no? Let's face it, we don't even get much support from Ford anymore! Can't say I blame them if they can't make money, but they're just so flakey about it, don't tell anyone what's going on, and I'm sure they're not going to disclose anything that might help someone else actually obtain replacement parts. When the day comes that I have to give up the IDI for something more modern, I'll be damn sure not to upgrade it with ATS parts.

Doesnt matter the prices were close to the same, and the website doesnt even list kits for IDI's

I never had trouble with ats till this.
They list a seal and grommet kit but they dont have any. Or so I was told.

Hypermax will go hand and foot to serve you with all your needs, i will gladly trade anyone my ats 093 kit and pay shipping on my end for a hypermax pulse system

Look we are playing with older Engines. Most manfactures quit having parts avail. after 8 years. ATS is not going to make parts . Eventualy HyperMax will do the same . as they sell off some of the slower moving parts they will not find new suppliers and pay for new tooling. They allready quit making their HIPO headgaskets. not enough call for them and retooling is not in the budget. We had better band together and find our own parts. Or switch to the dark side . Please forgive me for the thought.
