Was not my choice of waterpumps, but rather the option I had without ordering one. I am really tempted to replace it with a flowkooler, if they tell me where the components are sourced.I hope you have good luck, but I won't be taking chances on them again.
Not hard to build quality, hard to profit from it as much when a quality product lasts say 50k and china lasts a month and 1000k...

Flowkooler assembles in the USA. I think the impellers and bearings are from here as well. But the castings are sources from whatever pump manufacturer is cheapest. On one, they didn't even remove the GMB logo off the casting.
This was a few years ago. With covid I have no idea what they're doing.
Very interesting about the faster flow with these guys. I wonder if it would cure the 7.3 cooling ailments to some degree?Flowkooler assembles in the USA. I'm the same way. I may put one on the 6.9 in the Ex Wife, but I will put one on the 7.3 when it goes in.I couldn't care less about the casting as long as it fits and doesn't leak! I'm definitely going to go this route when I replace mine.
I'd sure like to know too. It would help a lot of people.I wonder if it would cure the 7.3 cooling ailments to some degree?
Depends on what's actually causing the ailments. If it's a lack of coolant flow through the engine then yes. If it's overheating because the radiator is plugged solid, or the fan clutch doesn't work, then no.Very interesting about the faster flow with these guys. Looks like they need to replace that plastic impeller with a metal one.
