I don't like how the Rancho stuff only works for 2wd trucks without swaybar... I'm interested in that topic as well tho, I definitely could use a stabilizer in my truck. I know one of the members here has one, he drives a burgundy or dark red F350 crew cab dually in the '92-'96 bodystyle.

I have a steering stabilizer from LMC on my 82 (4x4, TTB) and it helped a lot with the 33x12.50x16.5s that I was running. I don't see and reason why it wouldn't work on a 2WD.

I will if I get a chance, it's at my granddad's place about 30 miles from me, but if I find myself out there I'll get some pics. The only thing though, it's only a single stabilizer. I didn't realize till just now that y'all were hunting a dual stabilizer, but the LMC setup could probably be modified...

Here's the link to the LMC setup.

After some investigation, I am beginning to think that Rancho kit I linked to is a SINGLE, instead of a dual; information on these shock company websites is sketchy at best.:dunno

I have a single on my truck. I don't see why you couldn't fab it up to a dual setup. here are the pics...

I have the same setup as Calvin on my 94 and as far I can tell it looks OEM, but the parts store gives a different part to repalce it with so I havent messed with it.

I've got a single on mine as well, It was a factory setup. I got a replacement from Rock Auto and it was dirt cheap, works great.
Be careful with going to bonzo with steering stabilizers on a street truck, those dual setups were designed for racers who are airborne and landing on one steer tire to keep the wheel from getting ripped out of their hands and tearing their thumbs off. On the street they are pretty unforgiving, especially if you have ANY slop in your steering gearbox, you'll be working that wheel like a bad mule, plus the dual setup will put excess strain on your outboard steering componants.

Well, that's odd, my truck is factory tow package (with the big bumper, 7-pin connector, and 3rd radiator hose), but I have no stabilizer at all. I see RockAuto carries some stabilizer kits, but non as sturdy-looking as what Towcat and Ironman have...
