The engines going into the '83 up to early '85 trucks had a weakness in the block, where the block heater is installed. When it heated up, it could crack the block. There's a document floating around showing the engine serial number where the improvement was made which prevents this.

New headliner is up, close to the original color, good enough for me I guess, and it looks nice too.

HELP!! I want to swap the differentials in my truck, mine are 4,10 I believe, look at the sticker, the beige one is from my truck, the blue one is from the donor truck which has 5.0 EFI (1896) with E4OD. Will they fit my diesel truck?? I got a T19 for a transmission with the ultra low 1st.

UPDATE;
I just came back from Delano MN, all three F250 he had sitting around were equipped with 4.10 gears, so no luck there.
BUT, there was a 89 F350 4x4 flat bed dually, can I use the ZF5 from it? What do I need if I plan on keeping my t-case and only swapping in the tranny?
