Not to hijack this thread, but what do you guys mean about the early block cracking? And the block heater?

The engines going into the '83 up to early '85 trucks had a weakness in the block, where the block heater is installed. When it heated up, it could crack the block. There's a document floating around showing the engine serial number where the improvement was made which prevents this.

Does anyone have a tonneau cover for the box and a cab visor? Also a set of 3.55 gears front/back...
Or how much would it cost to regear both ends for mpg

New headliner is up, close to the original color, good enough for me I guess, and it looks nice too.
Nxt, I gotta patch up the seat or see what they got on LMC truck...

HELP!! I want to swap the differentials in my truck, mine are 4,10 I believe, look at the sticker, the beige one is from my truck, the blue one is from the donor truck which has 5.0 EFI (1896) with E4OD. Will they fit my diesel truck?? I got a T19 for a transmission with the ultra low 1st.
