I give up for tonight. Didn't get the radiator out like I wanted to.
Machine shed is dark, might as well be working by braille.
Spent an hour on one of the damn radiator support bolts.
Should have engine ready to pull (or out, but I think the forklift would get stuck) tomorrow.

Motor is ready to go. Need to move some stuff and get the forklift out. Possibly drag truck into the yard so the forklift doesn't get stuck.
Then get black truck into the shed and start pulling that motor.
Doing this once sucks, not looking forward to pulling another.

Drained trans oil, think I'm going to put 5w40 in it.
Looks like I have a smf.

I'm going to try to get red truck up and running by next weekend, maybe do axle swap the following weekend.

And this one in the black truck. Unknown miles but works good.

What one should I use?

Don't think I'm getting anything done today.

Red truck has been sitting for 4 years. It's an 83. BIL bought it at an auction for giggles. Used it to haul a couple loads of cornstalk bales, took it to a truck pull and locked up the front end, twisted front ds, then parked it. I bought it for 500, same he paid.
The gauge in the pic is a coolant system tester, Jed said it leaked coolant but didn't know where. It's a bad drivers headgasket.
I'm putting my good 85 6.9/093 in it, disk swapped 10.25 and seat. Front end eventually (I want a 60). Maybe fenders, power doors, and bed off of the 85 at some point.

Working in the machine shed kinda sucks but is better than being rained on.

Moving it by myself was a pita but I got it done. Only casualty was a front marker light on the Jeep when I ran into the bucket on the 560. Lol
Motor wants to come out but the damn drivers side lower dowel is stuck. Any tricks? I might have to pull motor and trans together and fight with it out of the truck.
