Ordered a triple pillar for my dually. I was thinking of painting it to match the factory red interior. anyone have a paint and part number that matches?

I asked Napa what they had for my particular shade of blue and the few SEM cans they had matched it pretty damn close. Otherwise you can check out the color chart and find your exact shade, and then hope that shade was in a Mustang at some point, because the internet has ALL the shades for those guys.

By the way, i just installed my 3 gauge pod a few weeks ago, looks great.

I would look at Plastidip. It is pretty cool stuff and looks good. It can also be peeled up if need be and reapplied. It is durable enough that people actually use it kinda like a paint on the outside of their car or on their wheels. I don't like it for that but it is good for plastic interior pieces...

Here is what you need:

The color is Burgundy part number HPV110

Here is the can that I bought about 10 years ago:

The Dash Pod was painted about 10 years ago and the pillar pod was painted about 7 years ago:

And I painted and installed this Grab Handle yesterday:

This stuff matches perfectly, goes on easy, dries in about 10 min, and last forever.

Awesome! ;Sweet hey...any write up on that grab handle?

Pick your favorite grab handle, this came out of an e350 I think) Paint it to match your interior, Remove the lower screw in the door pillar trim, replace it with a heavy duty short self tapper with the bottom hole of the grab handle, put another self tapper in the top hole.

Hows that,...?

That handle does look good Darrin. Also I wish Banks still made those center mount gauge pods. They look sweet!

Looks great Jon!

On the pillar I have:
Oil pressure, water temp, and volts.

Dash pod:
Boost, pyro, and trans temp.

Under dash pod:
Fuel pressure, vacuum, and air filter restriction.

That's all......

Looking good, fellas! Thx for the reminder, Jon. Need to paint my pod (and bumpers, and lots more!).

Your clean fingers clued me to wear nitrile gloves, for once... my hands always get covered in spray paint.. HATE gloves, but worth it, in this case. ;)
