I know all the individual part #'s are the same between the 250HD 2x4 and 150 4x4. Including the springs. I do remember something about having to swap out the 5 lug to 8, but I assumed I could do that from a D44LD out of a gasser 250.
My project this spring is to put a ttb d44 axle under mine. There a dime a dozen around here, and bolt right up in place of the 2wd ttb's. Just have to swap out the outer axles to 8 lug.
Instant and easy 4x4 for what I need, and thats extra winter driving traction.
Well, the customer service thing is good to know. I have my heads out now getting rebuilt, and I was going to order their kit. Guess I'll have to see if banks still sells em.
Plastic, because it doesn't rust. It doesn't reflect light. It doesn't need to be painted. And it's cheaper. Oh and F u ca for your carb shite... But I can still buy 5gal jerry cans in red at my local hardware store. It just has a screw(carb) on fill neck with the "vapor lock" top...
