Performance engine parts
has anyone ever looked into resizing the rods? seems like it would be fairly easy to pull the pull pistons back down in the block, without having to sacrifice thickness on the top of the piston?- Jrod-13

aren't you supposed to locktite them? I know I did on mine, after having the fan unthread itself, and wiped out the rad.. it was the original clutch/waterpump as well, so I know it was properly torqued.. I was attempting to climb a loose rough hill, and the clutch was locked, and the...- Jrod-13

I usually start to let out around 1250, but the highest mine will make is 1300 on a really hot day, with a heavy load. However, I have a buddy who used to drive a 96' 6.9 truck, no turbo, pump cranked, and he would run 1400 all the time.. Interestingly enough, the same guy has a 85' ranger...- Jrod-13

dual mass flywheel/truck not starting
Well, my springs have been gone for a long time probably close to a year. I realize it's not a good thing, but I've been putting off fixing it till after college graduation(may). This summer I had to put starter in it(pretty sure it dropped a brush, but it was under warenty, so I didn't...- Jrod-13
