I’m looking to be proactive with hunting down air intrusion in order to beat difficult hard starts. The check valve should prevent fuel drain back.
So I would think the best place to install a fuel check valve in these trucks would be in the soft fuel delivery line just before the lift pump...

Was pricing out an engine wish list through Summit and I’m seeing that stock pistons for a 7.3 n/an and 7.3 turbo are hard(er) to find. Most of what I see available is .030 or even 0.040 over. Surely it isn’t that you can use oversized pistons for a sleeve job.
Seems like boring out any 7.3...

Just did a fluid and filter change. I Rowed through all of the gears, drained the oil, put new pan gasket and filter in, Put 8 quarts of MECRON in.

Sounds to me like I have a valve train noise. I want to say I’ve heard this noise before in a video and it turned out to be an exhaust valve guide or something similar. Likely wrong.
My guess is a loose rocker arm is being noisy against a push rod and they’re slapping into one another

The voltage regulator has 4 male connectors on it and the 86 harness only has 3 female connectors - do I need an 86 specific voltage regulator or will this one work?
