    never had trouble with valve covers, but there is one injector that you have to take the selonoid off the remove it.

    one thing to check is the pigtail on the alt, i have seen more than one not making contact and not turning the alt on, other far off posibility is something is telling the glow plugs to turn on.

    dont keep the spare cps in the truck, put the new one in and keep the used one for a spare, or buy 2 new ones and throw the old one away.
