    Led bulbs

I'm currently replacing headlight lenses because old will no longer polish out well. Decided to do the LED upgrade along with the lens replacement and this is currently enroute to me along with lenses from a different vendor. Won't get them until later next week, I went for free slow shipping...

BEEN TOO LONG! ISSUES: Facet and water pump

Hey Burners! How have you been? A long time since I've been aboard. Two issues have come up which are annoying the heck out of me. First is: I've gone through my 2nd filtered Facet electric pump #42705, which is a 4-5.5PSI pump. Well, Facet has gotten out of the DURALIFT market, and all I can...

    A/C ORIFICE LOCATION

I have to go find the other brand I had in a store to figure out if it too had oil in it. If it also had 4oz, then I'll be a total of 5oz over. You think this would work, or do I need to start over again? Except now the drier and the rest of the system will have oil in it, so I guess just...

    A/C ORIFICE LOCATION

This system was converted awhile ago, so there is no mix of oils....THERE IS NO R12 in this system to mix at this time. I also flushed the system with AC flush until the flush turned clear again. Hoses, condenser etc. It took about three 24oz bottles with an air/flush injection wand used for...

Oil-Check! Freon-Check! R12 fitting- NO CHECK! I had purchased a new box of fittings for the quick connects v threaded connectors.... none of them would thread on, neither would his fittings.....high side only. All of the adaptors had fine thread female, and the nipple on the system is...

    A/C ORIFICE LOCATION

Just a quick update for the newbs and to clear up some erroneous advice I received and read several times. First the PAG oil. As the mechanic was putting the supplied PAG oil into the system, the compressor overflowed at about 2 ounces. Make sure your new pumps aren't pre-charged.... too much...

    A/C ORIFICE LOCATION

Thanks fellas for all the info. I converted to 134 awhile back(I mis-stated in my original post), but either I got a cheese rebuild or poor installation and premature failure...9 months. This thing actually went down about three months ago. And no... I'm not going back or making a...

    A/C ORIFICE LOCATION

Thanks T4, I went out and checked again, neither the input not output side of the evap has it. I did find some very mild rust in the low side going into the compressor hose though. You think this is why the compressor locked up... and it wasn't the clutch-checked that first. I can do...

:rolleyes: 1990 F250 pictured in my avatar. Ok.... so I've taken off every hose and looked in every "orifice" to locate the orifice.... WTH? I know, I know... high side. Is it the glue or did these not come with and orifice? System all original, tearing it out for new cheapo...

    RED DYE DIESEL FUEL

Thanks for the reply Number21, I know I called you out on this a bit, but was "supposed" to read like a general message. Can't stress enough to folks that yes they do check tanks, and yes..... especially in commie-country.

    RED DYE DIESEL FUEL

Well if this wasn't a surprised resurrection notice from a few ages ago. Number21, just because you've never heard it, doesn't make it so, especially in Klownifornia, the true police state. Here's something of interest regarding the cooperation between the ARB of Klownifornia and the IRS...

Hi OB8, I'm going to take the measurements when I get back home again tonight. It looks a little different, the pipes look quite bit longer, but it could be photo aspect. Also the cap looks a little taller. All of mine have a flat top and bottom on it vs. the mountain and rounded look...

    WTH? HEATERCORE!!! @#$@!!!!

Hey Warden, My nipples are hard and perky as ever. It was rather disappointing that the OEM's leak was up under the cores cap. Without tearing up the part, I can't get to the leak to braze, it's really buried up in there. It's the first thing I wanted to do, but there's a little skirt...

    WTH? HEATERCORE!!! @#$@!!!!

Thanks for the responses fella's. Smart assed?? I love smart assed! Biggest offender myself! Yeah, Klownifornia get's a little cool around here sometimes. I live at 2500 feet and the coldest I've had is 19*F. Typically around 35*F in winter, just rarely any snow. Had a light dusting twice...

1990 California F250 Extended Cab For sale

I'm not sure why I'm selling, so this may only be up for a little bit. Photo's upon request..... read the list first. I've been thinking of selling my 1990 Extended cab, 2WD auto. Comes with an extra u-haul IP ready to go, also the original rebuildable IP, set of "BB" injectors rebuilt and...

    HEATER CORE EEEEZ!

I think I'll go that way and return the Chinese one NAPA sold me. Besides, it didn't come with the gasket that is needed. You'd figure when asking for the Ford part replacement, it would come with, or have a note on the parts screen to "advise" purchase. Ah well.... it'll have to wait...

    HEATER CORE EEEEZ!

I own three sawzalls and know how to use epoxy! LOL Not in a million years! Besides, the removal of some unnecessary weight might give better fuel mileage!? In that scenario... I'd plug hoses, go buy a gang of dash plugs, upsize the wires, add a 30amp fuse, and install 5 harborF 12V...

    HEATER CORE EEEEZ!

Well, first off, driving along and coolant starts dripping on the pax side floor, vapor steaming u windows and chokin' the begeepers out of me. I make it home, up my big long 7 mile hill. Whew-eeee! I couldn't believe how inexpensive the heater core is for these vehicles! Less than 30 bucks...
