Updated my pictures, thanks for letting me know. So there has been a general reluctance on my part to do this, worried about the effects of wiring it wrong and the last couple of weekends did not have a lot of time. Today I took the time to try and put my planned wiring into line with the...

7.3 IDI Banks Turbo - E40D in limp mode - No Tach - Help Identify Relays

So, I might need help, but here is what I am planning on doing. Since they should have the same number/type of wires, I was going to cut off existing pigtail and join to the new box, wire by wire. This works to an extent except that one of the existing relays in my truck I think has 4 terminals...

So try and get the truck moving again, sprayed it all down with crc electrical cleaner, seemed to take some residue off but did not actually remove the corrosion. How do you all get the contacts cleaned up? Different compound? Sandpaper? Thanks, David

91 7.3 Bank Turbo - glow plugs clicking on and off

So, while researching another issue, think I may have found out via a youtube video that I have a bad glow plug, but wanted to run it by you guys first. This is my first diesel so I am still discovering things, so if I say something dumb, let me know and I will learn for next time. When the...

Thanks for the reply, I am working my way through this. I figured out the nut issue finally, everyone was trying to sell me the one for the dana rear end, not the sterling. Part was hard to find, ended up costing me close to $50. I just finished getting the bearing cups out of the hub...

Thanks for the quick reply. I dont think it was me, but is possible I did not secure it well enough when pulling it off. I have never had it off, never done this before, so your memory has been pretty good so far... I put the axle up to the hub, I am not certain there is any contact...
