    It was the stock intake tube. I was hauling a 35's 5th wheel up the pass. I dont know if it happened on a down shift when the turbo spooled, but it sucked it inside its self. Huge drop in power and mpg.

    I just installed a Moose Jr pump and injectors and switched over to an electric l.p. on the truck in my signature. I have been getting a consistent 15.3 for daily mountain driving. In a couple weeks ill put about 400 highway miles and see.

    To be clear, how many volts are supposed to be supplied to the glow plug itself? To test ill disconnect one of the glow plug connectors and attach my multi meter positive lead, then black lead to battery neg. Then ill set my meter on the windshield, climb in and hold the over ride button...

    Mine is an '88 f250 centurion dually conversion. I beleive the rear springs were upgraded (sits good with 5th attached). I havent had the front apart but it has dually wheels and TTB.

    Glow plug resistance

    I'm running motorcraft. And that's what I'm getting, about 15 sec. I'm worried about burning them out if I hold longer. Is there a self regulating glow plug that wont burn out?
