Complete ATS 093 Turbo For Sale

Saw you are having trouble selling this. Can I make a suggestion. I sold a complete kit in less then a week. Post pictures, pictures, and more pictures. Yes everyone knows what an ATS kit looks like, but if they see the actual one they are thinking about dropping nearly a grand on, it helps...

94 7.3 idi turbo throwing belts?

I do have the same bracket on mine. Installed like you have it now. Bet this fixes you up.

94 7.3 this my sounds stupid

No. There are no provisions on the truck to hook any type of programmer up. If you are good with computers, there are a few guys buying sending units and programming arduino with a display and basically making their own. Our trucks don't have the sending units, so that is hurdle number 1.

Are gas and Diesel brake boosters the same?

Seems like I remember a thread on this. Someone swapped one off their f150 and had a really hard brake pedal. The 1/2 ton and light 3/4 ton master cylinders are smaller bore and with the master cylinders on our diesel trucks, he had a really hard pedal. Don't think it will work properly...

    Bonehead CRAFT mistake...

Mine were different, luckily, the SMF clutch kit came with the bolts. If they are in the kits, surely they are available somewhere.

    Need help!!!!!

Does it thread in a couple turns and then stop? My understanding is MIP threads are cut straight through, while NPT threads have a taper.

    Need help!!!!!

Yes, according to these instructions, the vent plug stays in place. Basically, open it until you are done priming it with the manual priming bulb, then close it back off. http://www.parker.com/literature/Racor/Mobile_400_Series.pdf

    Need help!!!!!

According to Racor. Your filter head has 3/8-18 nptf ins and outs. Here are some brass fitting to 5/16 barb fittings. http://www.amazon.com/FasParts-Straight-Brass-Fitting-Water/dp/B013VR6CUU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446900955&sr=8-1&keywords=3%2F8+npt+to+5%2F16+barbed They are also...

    7.3 with c6 questions

Yep. That's a cruise module. You don't happen to have an overdrive off switch somewhere down on the dash(your year model) to the right of the steering column I think? Just curious. I don't see the wiring in any of your pictures for the e4od controls on the pump either. Wonder if you...

    7.3 with c6 questions

I went through a similar issue when I bought my truck. A1989 model, just like my 1992 model, never came with a c6. They would have had an e4od from the factory. Older year models DID come with c6 transmissions. Some one had swapped a c6 in place of the original transmission in my truck as...

We've got a bubbler. Bubbles in the coolant overflow tank

Isn't there a test kit you can get to see if combustion gases are getting in the coolant? That would tell you real quick. I don't see what it would hurt to at least try to torque them again. Doubt it would make it any worse. Edit...

Best injectors for 1993 7.3 Idi non turbo

In my experience, once the caps are jacked with, count on them leaking. All these vendors can sell you a good dipaco kit that will also come with new copper washers for the injectors. Just plan on budgeting in for, another return line kit. These vendors will be cheaper than what you can buy at...

How to tell the difference between 6.9 and 7.3 IPs?

Just take some pics of the serial numbers on the pumps and PM them to Mel. He will get back to you and let you know.

Best injectors for 1993 7.3 Idi non turbo

Biggest thing with injectors is making sure they all pop at the same pressures. If not, then each cylinder will be running different timing, meaning, the fuel will be injected at different times in the Pistons travel. Not good. Timing is very important to the way these engines run. It can...

    Fuel return line question

No. It has to be routed back to the tank. That line coming out of the filter head is a return as well. Routing between each injector, filter head, and IP doesn't necessarily matter as much, as long as they each have a path back to that fitting behind cylinder #8 that leads back to the tank...

E-Series Fender removal- ONE bolt away...

Glad you have it figured out. I am fighting a similar issue, but it's on a 1977 corvette. They have a wiper cowl that goes side to side. Guess what GM used from the factory to seal the seams? That's right, roofing asphalt! We also have the side drains backed up with nastiness. Once...

What do your gauge setups look like?

My favorite gauge location. Pyro on top of the steering column. Right where it is in view of the tach and speedo. I also have a 4 gauge pillar pod filled with stuff.

    Starter shenanigans...

Interesting, got a part number for that starter you bought? Looks nothing like the starters I have.
  24. cpdenton

    Starter shenanigans...

Not all the bolts. The top two are where the adapting takes place. 2 on each side go through into the block. The top has bolts that go into the block through the adapter only, then the top trans bolts go into the plate. You say the starter you are trying to use is a 95 7.3 style? Is that...

    Brake caliper replacement?

I have autozone specials. Seem to be ok so far. While you at in there...do yourself a favor. Go ahead and replace the other side too. If one is leaking, the other probably isn't far behind. Your pads will be soaked with fluid too, so plan on new pads. The rubber lines to the calipers are...
