^they are very expensive indeed, and I doubt I need something so high torque/hp rated. I just need to stay away from sled pulls, as anyhtign but a double will just get destroyed from slipping the start. P9106 needs a new clutch.
Thx for the input. I called Fort Wayne clutch he recommended a dual face, kevlar on the pressure plate side and ceramic on the flywheel side that was about $450 fir the kit. Too pricey for my babk right now- Greg5OH

Well, i have notced past few days the slippage is getting worse. even in 2nd gear full boost it starts slipping away and can really reel it in 3rd when boost goes over 20 lbs. Dynomax exhaust?
which muffler exactly? What type is it? While I have a diamond eye, it is a 4" louvered core (coveres open towards the rear/backwards), and man it sounds great. Took away all the rasp my 4" straigth had (i am turboed), it has a very nice bark starting at 2200+ rpm. Sounds similar to a 6.0...- Greg5OH

7.3 Turbo sound
minus the turbo whistle min does sound kind of liek a gasser at 2200-3600. Its a smooth DURRRRR sound. Pulls you back in the seat nice though :) Im running 3" down pipe and 4" exhaust pipe with a diamond eye louvered muffler. The muffler soudns great. Very similar to a 6.0 getting into it.- Greg5OH

started driving it again on wednesday :D wife painted the doors and fender for me, still ahve to do the roof but its good enough for now :D jus tin time for the storm this is probabaly my favourite angle of the truck- Greg5OH

I cant tell you exactly for sure, but I do know 08+ have longer rear leafs if that matters to you. Front axel si the same to at least 2011. sorry i cant be of more help.- Greg5OH

ZF5 swap cost ballpark...
it all depends where you shop around. I paid 280 for my 2wd ZF, pedal clutch and flywheel. Went from e40d, had new front part of shaft made(needed extensions and slip converted to fixed yoke). The deals are out there. 2wd shoudl be very cheap, 4x4 ZF 2-3x the price. Or can do divorced like i...- Greg5OH

well I did mess around with the hinges and pins a bunch on the repaired side, lines up pretty well now i think, definitly alot of adjustment. had ym wife operate the gun while i positioned the doors. The donor door i picked up from a 94 truck, it wont engage the second part of the lock-you kwno how there is the first click/latch but door isnt fully closed, then you can push on it harder to get it to close and seal agaisnt the weatherstripping? nothing exciting to report. But the roof is basicaly done. Welding in a patch for the stock clearance light so i can drill it to where i have mien spaced out to. putting in 3 hours tonight on it so finish the the under side cowl as well. wire brush everything, grind weverythign put some paint...- Greg5OH

Windshield is in. Pnly used 1 tube probably shoulda used 2, but i ended up gooping a bunch inside and out as extra protection lol. Looks ugly but eff it.
