    Old Trailer move

    Be prepared to change a flat tire, and make sure the hitch latch works, if it hasn't been used in years. It possible that the hitch has rusted in place. Good chance the brakes are frozen too, so it may not have any brakes either. Go easy the first few miles and stop and recheck lug nuts and lights.

    Shouldn't have to gut the EBPV on a stock PSD. If EGT's are still high, you have other problems.

    I think you're on to something with the brake lights, I replace the rear bulbs just to be sure, might just be a bad bulb or a bare wire.

    Don't forget to put a balance tube between the exhaust pipes. and some sort of flex pipe when you go into the bed for frame flex.

    They can be tuff to find. You are limited to ex cabs only, Reg cabs and CC seats will swap, but ex.cabs floor pans are different

    I would bet it's the o rings and caps before the hard line. If they are old if you look at them funny they can leak.

My dad pulled it home from wintering in FL. and was concerned about getting his 97 2wd dually stuck in the soft ground in his back yard, so I used my 4x4 to put it in place for him. The trailer was nose high (my truck's hitch sits about 4" higher...

    I towed my parents 5er from a storage lot out to their home today(about 7 miles). 36' triple slide, 19,900 GVWR. I'm guessing it weighs about 17,000 right now. Truck hauled the weight well, but the 3.55's killed my get up and go. Pull some nice size hills, and EGT's never got about 1200. truck...

    Might want to pack a bag, just in case. Once you arrive and start meeting other members, you'll want to stay the night. Some people have even slept in their trucks.

    Not sure about VA, but did the truck(by VA Law) have to have a reconstructed title after the frame was stretched? If so you might be in violation on that fact. But from the info you provided here, looks like you would have a case.
