check the fuel check valve on the fuel inlet to the head. also have you checked fuel pressure in general- Double-S-Diesel

7.3 engine swap tips
while its out replace all the o rings and gaskets in the motor including the ones behind the front cover, also the furl bowl orings and the hpop.o rings also recomend the hp oil rail plugs at least at the backside of the head. rebuild the oil cooler also. I would even throw a new low pressure...- Double-S-Diesel

Slight "rattle" and tire wear
on 2wd check the radius arm bushings that may be the culprit, the other thing i have run into on obs truck is the fender bolts by the hood hinge being loose, but that would not affect tire wear- Double-S-Diesel

Spare tire hardware interchangeability
from what I remember the carriers are the same the only differences were the length of the eye bolt and the fixed bolt that hold them to the frame- Double-S-Diesel

as far as I know any 94.5-97 will fit as long as auto or zf5 non california Im assuming your truck is a zf so any non calii zf 5 should work, a auto cpu would get buy but wont be right.- Double-S-Diesel

benches front and rear up to 97 will fit right in. buckets from a reg cab that have the frame under it will bolt right in. Buckets without the frame will need holes drilled. 1999+ will work but will have to drill holes and use some spacers on a few holes. F-150 seats 97+ will also work with...- Double-S-Diesel

fuel stem check valve....remove that junk!
MY bad some how I read that as fuel system check valve , totally forgot about the one in the filter housing. I have heard of cases where non motorcraft filters have caused issues.- Double-S-Diesel

obs does not have, but the reason they are there on the 99+ is because of the dead head fuel system, they do a couple of things one being to help with the starvation of the #8 injector, and the second to prevent the injector pulses from pushing fuel back the the filter housing and destroying the...- Double-S-Diesel

OEM or Not? -IPR/IPC
in my experiance I prefer motorcraft the ipr is differnt from 7.3 to 6.0 and according to the listing the icp is 7.3 /6,0 specific- Double-S-Diesel
