    I had the entire dash and AC system out to add sound deadening. The ducting splits apart, be careful with the clips/snaps so you don't break them. There may have been staples or something as well, it's literally been years since I had it open.

    A turbo won't give you more MPG, but it'll make better use of the fuel you're already burning via improved power. Best thing you can do is swap out that C6 for a ZF5 if you want mileage.

    Ordered a set of injectors to match the pump, got those installed as well. Also had to make a throttle cable plate since I cut off the mount when I welded the intake tubing. Made progress tig welding steel, oddly had an easier time welding aluminum than steel.

    Finished the intercooler setup, ordered a new 2 gallon tank and got it mounted. Filling the system took forever, had to add a Schrader valve to bleed the air. Got it all plumbed and the pump mounted.

    97 is nice, should be a ZF5 S5-47, probably mid ratio as well. 5.15:1 first I think instead of 4.14:1. Make sure it is from a diesel, 460 housing won't fit without drilling holes in it

    085 piping is quite different from those pictures. Could be an 085 air housing, but piping is 088.

    C6 crossmember also works. Definitely get a new bearing, that LUK kit one is garbage. Kit is otherwise excellent

    I have an efuel setup, so I am just running a piece of PEX tubing to the bottom of the tank instead of dealing with the filter/showerhead.

    Well you lucked out. When I was dealing with all of my fuel issues a couple of years ago the cheapest I saw was $150+ for a diesel sender. I ended up switching everything to the 16-158 ohm senders because they were available and used Auto Meter gauges for my fuel level.

    Make sure the new sending unit matches your fuel gauge ohms. Ford used 10-73 ohms for the diesels, a lot of the gas ones are 16-158 ohms. Chevy is something like 0-90. Most of the sending units I've seen are 16-158 ohms.
