    Someone go get it!!!

Ha ha ha, I think I fall into the carpetbagging Yankee category when it comes to your criteria. My children were conceived and born in Florida but considering the fact that I originated from the evil north, that might cancel out any dadgum goodness that's possible from their birth origins. LOL

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I can't thank you enough for this suggestion! As per my usual self; I was about to do it the most difficult way possible. I bought a cheap pin out tool kit and it took longer for me to plug the connector back in than it did to change the pin configuration. Thank you!!! :hail

You didn't say this wasn't kin. ;Poke

So what did you do with your truck today?

I'm going to use this story in an attempt to convince my bride that this is why I have so much stuff.... I'm not a hoarder. :dunno :rotflmao

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I work for a municipality, but it's 36 miles from home. If I go to the Napa close to where I work I get a huge discount if I'm wearing my city uniform. The Napa by the house doesn't have that city in their system because of the distance but some of the clerks who see me often will use a...

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I like Napa and they're right around the corner from the house, but their prices are higher than the balls on a moose.

So what did you do with your truck today?

There won't be any of that shenanigans on my horizon. My beard has a birthday and it won't be removed while I'm alive. It was born the day I was discharged from the Marine Corps and I haven't shaved since. :fight:

So what did you do with your truck today?

How difficult was it to breathe and to see when you were spraying? Did you do something to accommodate that the pictures don't show?

The only thing missing is the mask and the gun.

Accurate Diesel - ‘86 6.9 Glow Plug Controller Upgrade

Huh, good point. I never thought of it that way. Do you mean a coyote or a deer? :rotflmao :joker:

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

If it builds character then I am on the road to success, since I've been labeled a character countless times. -Drool I just ordered a pin out tool set last night and also 2/0 welding cable and positive/ negative battery terminal clamps for a little electrical upgrade. Pray that I'm not the...

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

That does make more sense. Confine it to one area instead of being "that guy" with jacked up wiring everywhere you look. Hopefully it doesn't require some funky pin out tool to swap out the offending wires. I saved the original wiring diagram that came with the new fsv so I can just annotate on...

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

That's a better idea! I already have the dash apart and it's not like I'm going to get rid of the truck so the next owner can trash talk how dumb I was.

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I don't remember where I got mine from but $80 sounds about right to me. I know I ordered it and did not get it locally.

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I'll see your 538 and raise you to 600. :joker: The aftermarket one I got off Amazon has more than 12k miles on it and it's doing fine. Came with its own plug and remarkably decent wiring diagrams to tie into existing wires. Not color for color, that would have been too easy. Of course, I'm...

Turning radius--crew cab vs super cab

That's one I can agree with, if you don't like the way I drive then stay off the sidewalk.

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

I like the way you think. Don't let PETA know, I probably wiped out an entire generation of spotted owls but the mosquitoes are thriving. I've taken my brain out and played with it so many times I think it enjoys the abuse. Funny thing, my brother and his family just moved down here so they...

    Traveller Smurf (Cubey's '89 van)

Ha ha, that's impressive. They ought to use that story for a TV commercial.

Now that you mention it, I've seen plenty of jeeps towed behind rv's. That makes sense. I didn't know about that, thanks. I didn't know that about the effect of power steering on towability. I've had a couple of different Beetles at one time or another. I like those cars, should have kept them.

    Leaking fuel tank selector valve?

When I first got my truck, someone had put masking tape over the legend for front and rear tank and used black marker to indicate front and rear. So when I changed out my fsv I made sure to wire it according to the tape. WRONG!!! It took a decent amount of goo gone to remove the adhesive so that...

    Traveller Smurf (Cubey's '89 van)

So at the risk of being ridiculed, I'm going to go ahead and ask this question anyway. I've never pulled an unmanned vehicle with all four of its wheels on the ground before. Is there something you do to make sure it tracks behind you properly without veering wherever it feels like?

    Chronic repeated mouse/rat problem

Incredible what you guys have to go through. I have never had to deal with rodent issues ever. I guess I'll stop complaining about mosquitos. They don't tear up vehicles. Seems I should be thankful.

My truck had that done to it before I got it, it seems to be doing fine.

    Rat chewed under dash wiring

This is the book I have. He actually wrote two books, (this has both of them) and Clint never got around to making the second movie as he intended. Hang tough little soldier, you can do it. If money was meant to be held onto it would come with handles.
