    Max safe sustainable RPM

I'll chime in on this one. Since I've owned my truck it's only gone long distance one time, from Wyoming to Florida. After a 500 mile break in period I've stayed at 65mph for the most part, 70 occasionally when passing. At 65mph it runs at 1900 rpm, I have 3.55 gearing. Anything faster and fuel...

So you're the one to blame. It heads south for the winter and grows in my stuff instead, thanks a lot. :joker:

ISO a guy that could help me time my 93 non turbo.

I have a brother who lives in Woodbridge, I'm not sure where that's at in relation to you. He doesn't have anything good to say about cost of living there, especially traffic. Good hearing from you also.

So what did you do with your truck today?

For some reason I was thinking you guys were going to mount that in the cab, not under the truck where you have to pull to the side of the road to switch tanks.

That's because he lives in South Georgia. :rotflmao

We have property taxes, they're just not obnoxiously high like up north. We don't have sales tax though. My house is four feet above sea level, Jesus Freak is most likely higher than that.

Blue smoker. Seems like it’s tough to narrow down.

Thanks. I recently found out after a trip to the salvage yard that although it has the bullnose cab, the bed is from a bricknose. It made sense why one taillight fit the body better than the other. I never really paid close attention to the shape before. I guess it's an '86 hybrid. :joker:

The only vehicles I've had brand new from the dealership are a couple of motorcycles. My GMC was a year old when I got it about 23 years ago, I'm the second owner. My bullnose, however, I got when my father went into an ALF. It hadn't been taken care of for years but he was still driving it. He...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! :rotflmao I hadn't driven my GMC for a couple of months and when I opened the door I had plants growing in the floorboard.

I have a Jasper reman'd engine in mine. It was pricey, but it does come with a two year unlimited mile warranty. I figure to keep this truck until I'm planted.

    Question about fuel filter housing

I like what you did with that heater plug. I have a spare filter head that I intend to mount after the fuel tank selector valve and before the electric fuel pump, which I have mounted on a frame rail. The plan is to have a water separator for additional filtration. What type of material did you...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Yes, I do. The closest to it was an M6-1.0 and the screws wobbled in the holes. #12-24 was closer but they still wobbled. I figured if I munged it up when running the 1/4"-28 tap I was going to put rivet nuts in there instead, turns out I didn't have to.
