    What else do you drive?

I'm at 18k miles. So far so good. It pulls my 30ft 5th wheel perfectly. Mileage would be great except for regens. Still pulls 19+ easily. Just a really nice driving, comfortable truck. The drivetrain is stout for the truck capacity.

    Twin Turbo 7.3 IDI?

If you want a small quick spooling turbos look at the 2.0 liter Ecoboost engines. Should be lots of those around although I haven't really checked on prices.

    What else do you drive?

Lots of options when the IDI is not being driven. 19' Titan XD Cummins. 17' BMW S1000XR 07' Mustang GT (full track suspension and Boss 302 brakes w/ 2 piece rotors) 03' Merc SL500 01' RC51 (RVT1000R) Probably need to downsize honestly.

So what did you do with your truck today?

My issue is that the new drums from china need to be turned for roundness before their even installed so the need for the equipment is still there.

So what did you do with your truck today?

I had the same issue. Found one place wanted $90 to resurface them. Super steep. Not one of the self proclaimed "brake shops" around even had the proper tooling to do the work. Recently the guy at O'reillys said they do it for $15-20 per drum. I haven't tried to get anything done but will look...

So what did you do with your truck today?

I went through all that last year. And the year before a little (truck had been sitting 4-5 years). My best advise. Get all new springs and hardware when you do the brake shoes. And get very good brake shoes. I had one unweld itself (the metal frame part) which is why I was in there twice...

    Axle swap brake issue

Hydroboost or Vacuum still. You said you swapped brakes but does that include the master cylinder as well?

So what did you do with your truck today?

Damnit I hate to hear that. Looks like she's having a good time. Good on you for taking here out and letting her enjoy the ride. I'm staring that in the face with my old guy. 13 right now. Stairs are off the table these days. But he's happy and still getting around so until he's not doing...

Looking for a good IP shop

Keep in mind, you will be tempted to not pay the price one of these guys is asking. These are top quality built pumps. Do not take the cheaper options you might find on google. Too much variance in quality of what you get. Lots of people spend 3/4 the price of a good pump just to save a few...

    2020 Oilburners New Hampshire rally

@GOOSE you've had a hell of an adventure this week. Sorry I couldn't be there to help out. (Not that you needed it) Glad you were able to get it fixed.

    BOOB power tour

I like the idea of no interstates and out where the country is flatter and more open I can see it being feasible. Where I live it would take all day at an average speed of 30 mph pulling a trailer just to reach the state line because other than the Interstate the roads are too hilly and winding...

    BOOB power tour

I'm still interested in persuing it. The idea came from having a rally more people could attend as it moved around some. Additionally people could join the convoy as it got near them. Drive a half day, stop a couple days, drive another half day. People with more time available could hang in...

    BOOB power tour

I'd love for it to still have legs. Seems we're in a bit of a holding pattern for now. And as always still open for suggestions on format, locations, timeframe etc.

    2020 Oilburners New Hampshire rally

Well guys I hate to say it but I am going to have to cancel my reservations. Due to the shutdown all my April and May work is hitting now. My biggest project that I've overseen since day one comes online July 6th. I will be there till the 15th. So that kills any chance of me making the rally...

    2020 Oilburners New Hampshire rally

Well you can believe what you want I have no stake in the game but I actually had it. It kicked my ass for 2 solid weeks and I never get sick. 7 weeks later I am still short of breath and haven't fully recovered my energy. I was spending a lot of time in the Newark NJ area in February through...

    AC question?

Yes it is. But the reason they won't fit a 93 or earlier truck is because the drier is different. Just trying to share the info in the event someone is buying parts so they don't end up with incompatible stuff. You could add the drier as well and then it would fit.

    AC question?

Aside from the compressor lines I don't believe they are. Another note, in 94' when they went to R134 the filter drier assembly changed and they added a high pressure switch. The compressor lines for those trucks are different from the 93' and earlier trucks.

    AC question?

I have redone my A/C 3 times before I finally bought a new Motorcraft compressor last year. Also having cleaned everything in the old system out each time and seeing how much time/trouble that was to be thorough, I replaced everything along with the compressor this last time. I always replaced...

    2020 Oilburners New Hampshire rally

Whelp I already had it. Got it in Joisey last month of all places. Was there for 24 hours. Go figure. (Probably Newark Airport). So I'm okay if you show up. My GF never caught it that we can tell and we've been in constant company since the lockdown happened. It's kind of hit or miss. Not sure...

    I hate drum brakes

Just to clarify my 93' F350 is setup exactly the same as this. And yes get new spring kits Old springs lose their temper, stretch and break.
